ICSGCE 2020 Virtual Conference

The International Conference on Smart Grid and Clean Energy Technologies 2020 (ICSGCE 2020) was successfully held online from 9 to 11 October 2020 despite of the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.

The local organising committee consists of UTAR Centre for Power Systems and Electricity (CPSE) Chairperson Professor Lim Yun Seng, Professor Eng Yoke Kee, Dr Wong Jianhui, Dr Karen Wong, and Dr Chua Kein Hui. The conference aimed to create a platform for researchers and engineers to exchange their latest findings and knowledge regarding the Smart Grid and Clean Energy Technologies. It also provided a good opportunity to meet virtually with several well-known researchers in the field of Smart Grid and Clean Energy for potential collaboration in research projects.

The sponsors of the conference were UTAR, IEEE, and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). There were participants from Switzerland, France, Germany, Norway, China, Taiwan, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Indonesia. A
ll sessions, oral presentations, discussions and other activities are available online
on IEEE Xplore, and indexed by Ei Compendex, and Scopus. The following are some pictures of the keynote speeches presented by speakers from Italy, Japan, and Malaysia.

Professor Alberto Borghetti (IEEE Fellow)
University of Bologna, Italy

Sharing on the topic of "Neighbourhood Energy Trading and Renewable Energy Communities"

Professor Masakazu Kato (IEEE Fellow)
